Cole was raised in Baker, MT, and graduated from the University of Montana. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Shaine, and their two dogs Sunny and Sylvi. He also enjoys taking part in community events around Missoula as well as many of the Montana outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, or hiking.
